Things look different around here, right? Starting today we’ve got a new design for both this blog and our main web site.

As we were working on launching Mixel late last year we were lucky enough to get help from two amazing design studios: Weightshift in San Francisco designed our main web site and Gin Lane Media here in New York City designed the Mixel blog. They both did terrific work and we couldn’t have been more pleased.

However, soon after launch we realized that we would need to overhaul our web presence for a number of reasons. For this blog, our original intentions had been to post only sporadically, but there has been so much good stuff happening inside and around Mixel that it became evident we needed a more editorial environment than we had anticipated. And our main web site, which is still relatively simple, needed to establish a framework on which we can build future enhancements. In the coming months, you’ll see a more robust web component of the Mixel experience that will follow the design we’re establishing today.
